From Danny Parks:
What up everyone! You may or may not have heard but the King of New York contest is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary at Mullaly Park this year. The date is July 29th. I'm sending this to you all because in one way or another, you've all been involved with supporting Mullaly in it's past 17 year existence and it would be great to have you come out and celebrate with the local crew - all the Bronx riders, myself, Lou Perez, Rob Ramos, Casio, Joe Buff, etc. The Yankees are building a new stadium and it looks as if this may be the last year for Mullaly - in it's current location anyway. So we want to give the park a grand sendoff and let 'em know Freestyle is alive and well in NYC!
Nate Wessell is going to come in and build a few new things, there will be a live DJ, and we're gonna try and get free food for everyone too. The comp is jam format, at least $3000 purse to 10th place with $50 entry. Even if you don't want to compete, it would be cool to have you out to ride and hang with everyone. At the least, there will be lots of free drinks (water, juices, energy drinks, etc.) great riding, and a great vibe!
